fire from water

1. Take one spatula of  potassium permanganate  on a petridish.
2. Add three to six drops of glycerol to it.
3. Wait for few seconds and see what happens.
4. It will be observed that potassium permanganate powder starts burning with a spark.
5. This happens because potassium permanganate is reduced and glycerol is oxidised.........
